Bongo’o or Mbongo is a dish that stems from the collective memory of the Bassa region in Cameroon.

This dark or black sauce, prepared with fish or meat, is seasoned with a mixture of tropical spices that are used in a traditional way.

Mbongô ground is very finely and is the main component of the black sauce.
