Very aromatic, lemongrass has lemon aromas, among other things, which are in great demand when cooking.
In the infusion, the lemongrass leaf is known for its effectiveness in treating digestive disorders, but also for its calming properties. It also helps relieve stressed and anxious people.
In the dried form it is cut or used ground. But it is precisely the fresh stalk of lemongrass that reveals a slightly rosy, unusual and fresh lemon aroma with its very own exotic note. The fresh or dried leaves, as we know them from tea blends, are often used for a thirst-quenching tea. The popular lemongrass used for seasoning comes from India.
4-5 full teaspoons / liter, 100 degrees water temp. Let it steep up to 10 minutes.
